The Jeanne Clery Act requires institutions of higher education to issue a statement advising the campus community where law enforcement agency information provided by the State concerning registered sex offenders may be obtained.
The Michigan Public Sexual Offender Registry can be reached at:
The law also requires those persons that are: students, full or part time employees, contractural providers, or volunteers at a college or university where that person would be on campus for 14 or more consecutive days or 30 or more total days in a calendar year to report their status and address to the local law enforcement jurisdiction.
To obtain information on registered sex offenders on campus use the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry search function. Choose Calvin College or Calvin Theological Seminary in the Campus/School drop down menu.
