Project Title
With a student audience in mind, provide a brief title of your proposed project.

Project Summary
Provide a summary of your proposed project (up to 500 words).

Activities Expected of the Student
Highlight the full range of activities in which the student would be involved. Rank in order of the relative amount of time required for each task, 1 = most time, 5 = last amount of time anticipated.

Student Qualifications
List essential and desirable qualifications of a student who would successfully work on the project. Rank in order of importance, 1 = most important qualification, 5 = least important.

Project Outcome & Benefit
 Describe the prospects or plans for publication or other public dissemination of project results, and the role of the student therein. Explain the broader value of the project (e.g., to the faculty member, the discipline, the college, or some other community).

Tentative Work Schedule
Provide a week-by-week tentative work plan. List in the text box below as Week 1, Week 2, etc.(note: common workspace and computers will be provided for all McGregor students in Heimenga Library 406C.)

Absences During Fellowship
Faculty members are expected to provide extensive mentoring for their students throughout the nine-week period of the McGregor Summer Research Fellowship. Please list any time periods when you may be unavailable for an extended period of time.

Student Presentations
In what context will the student make a presentation of research results (e.g., departmental seminar or a professional conference).

Additional Resources
Describe other complementary sources of research support that may be combined with McGregor funds to support the student stipend and related research costs.
