A conference for Undergraduate Mathematics Students and Faculty
Who Wants to Be a Mathematician?
Back by popular demand is the second episode of
Who Wants to Be a Mathematician? Our day will conclude with
this game show. There will be an opportunity for both contestants and
audience members to win mathematical prizes. Special thanks to
Texas Instruments, Waterloo (Maple), Wolfram (Mathematica),
World Scientific Publishers for providing us with some great prizes.
Students who are interested in being contestants will have an opportunity
to sign up when they arrive.
This year's game promises to be bigger, better and faster even than
last year's success.
Come cheer on your friends, have some fun, learn a little
mathematics, and perhaps leave with a special prize.
David Koop (Calvin College) was last year's first contestant.
