P.J. Hoffmaster State Park


P.J. Hoffmaster State Park is a 457 hectare (1,130 acre) park in Ottawa and Muskegon counties, Michigan. The park is almost entirely sand dunes, including forest-covered dunes, active and stabilized large parabolic dunes, blowouts, and shore-parallel dunes. The park has approximately 4 km (2.5 miles) of Lake Michigan shoreline with sandy beaches.

The E. Genevieve Gillette Sand Dune Visitor Center in Hoffmaster State Park is a premier facility for enabling visitors to enjoy and understand the sand dunes of the Great Lakes.
