Pictured above are a few photos from this year’s Engineering and Computing Career Fair. Many employers and students who attended considered this year's fair a success!
Employers and Students Recognize Career Fair as a Success
This year’s event was held in the Prince Conference Center on the campus of Calvin College.Over 40 employers attended as students from many local colleges came to Calvin for the event. This fair welcomed all concentrations of Engineering, Information Systems, and Computer Science majors. This annual event is often benificial for both the employers and students as interaction and communication are key for a career after college. The main benifit, is that both parties are serious in their search for fulfilling a position. Melanie Trowbridge of C2AE had this to say after coming to this years fair.
"I have been to Calvin's campus twice to conduct mock interviews with the engineering students and I find that Calvin has THE BEST students I've seen in a very long time. They are so impressive, smart, focused and just the kind of people I want to hire in our firm. The students who I spoke to at the fair were equally as impressive and prepared. I wish I had openings for each of the 40 students I met! I often had a long line at my booth because I like to spend quality time with each student".
