Robot Duster

Mark has completed his invention project for school. The assignment was to invent something to solve a problem. The invention need not actually work (whew!). He came up with about 7 potential ideas. He went with the Robot Duster.

The idea is that the robot would complete the grueling chore of dusting. He wanted a robot arm that goes back and forth to provide the dusting motion. I told him about the four-bar linkage that my wallmate, Gayle, teaches in her classes. Thus, the Robot Duster attained its moving arm.

Mark is justifiably proud of his invention. He must bring it to school tomorrow and give a short speech about it.
