Welcome to a new year and decade. Not quite as dramatic as Y2K.
We had a very strong Southeaster again today. It is still blowing like crazy at 22h00 as I write this.
Today, I prepared for the Orange River trip by packing and washing. And, can you believe it, I washed my cell phone which was in the pocket of my shorts. And it is fried. No cell phone for me. Arrrrgh! I also worked on the production function for my dematerialization economics project, did five recommendation letters for students, and worked on a consulting project.
I'll be away for the next six days and unable to do any weblog updates. I'll try to take photos during the Orange River trip and provide some blog posts when I return.
