On this Saturday, we really took it easy. At the end of term, it is nice to have a slow day. In the morning, Tracy, Mark, and Catherine went to a flea market, while I finished some lecture preparation that I couldn't complete due to the hectic and unplanned schedule yesterday.

Mark's friend Delynne came over for lunch and fun afterward. At mid-afternoon, we went out to Mugg & Bean for a snack. The British and Irish Lions were playing South Africa in rugby on the screens. South Africa won in dramatic fashion, but we didn't stay to the end: Delynne had to be returned home.

Tosca is feeling much better today, so after lunch Tosca, Catherine, and I took a very long (2 hour) walk to a park with swings. Catherine had a blast. Although Tosca was a little less excited than usual, she is definitely on the mend. Late this afternoon, she was chasing her toys again.

The air was crystal clear today, and there was a beautiful sunset on Stellenbosch Mountain this evening. I ran outside to take a few photos.

This evening, Tilane stopped at our house to bring some snacks to Tosca, which was very nice.
