The Xavier Davis Trio spoke at and performed for Calvin College's 2009 January Series. Xavier Davis is a west Michigan native. He is a prolific composer and has worked with many jazz greats, including the late Nat Adderley, the late Betty Carter, Regina Carter, Tom Harrell and Wynton Marsalis.
