Moodle Course Files
You may upload and save files within each Moodle course you teach using the Files resource in the Administration block.

Moodle > [course] > Administration block > Files

Moodle

Files are only visible to instructors, but can be opened to students by Add A Resource > Link to a File or Web Site.
Because the system is secured, intellect-ual property used for instruction can be stored here to help prevent copy-right infringement (via the Teach Act).

500MB per file

Moodle courses will be removed each semester. Please use a Master Course or Master Collaborative Course to save materials that will be re-used.

Moodle Master Course Files
Because a given course's content is only available during the semester it is taught, permanent Master Courses have also been created.
Files that will be re-used over multiple semesters should be stored in the appropriate Master Course. (See below)
You may upload and save files within your Moodle master courses using the Files resource in the Administration block.

Moodle > [course] > Administration block > Files

Moodle

Master Course files can only be accessed by the faculty teaching a particular course.

Moodle Master Collaborative Course Files
Curriculum files used by all faculty of a particular course should be stored in the Master Collaborative Course Files.

Moodle > [course] > Administration block > Files

Moodle

Master Collaborative courses and any files contained within can be accessed by all faculty teaching a particular course.
