ZENWorks Patch Management: How Windows computers receive software updates

We maintain the security of your office computer by requiring/recommending software updates and patches to it. While some of these changes run without disrupting your work, others require installation and rebooting.

  1. When we send an update or patch to your computer that needs action on your part you will see:
    Update Window
    image
  2. The new window will tell you what is to be installed and will give you any additional information you might need. For example, if a reboot is required it will tell you.
  3. Because there are times when running an update or patch isn’t convenient for you a Snooze button is available. You are able Snooze for a set period of time before being prompted again to Install.
