Data Visualization Workshops
The Data Visualization Workshop will take place over three successive Tuesdays. The workshops will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in DeVos Communications Building Room 110. Attendance at the Workshops is not required as a prerequisite for participating in the Visualizing Public Life Initiative, but a range of invaluable tools for creating a project will be included in the sessions.

Data Visualization Open Houses
Two optional Visualization Open Houses are scheduled when staff will be available to work with students on their projects. The open houses will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in DeVos Communications Building Room 110. The Open Houses are intended to serve as a resource for individuals who would like additional input and advice as they move forward.
October 23 and November 1, 2012
Final Submissions Due
Upon submission, visualizations will be divided by category and then assessed by a panel of faculty and practitioners.
March 15, 2013
Public Displays and Presentations
Finalists will be displayed publicly at the Henry Institute Symposium on Religion and Politics, and interested students will be given the opportunity to present their work at the Symposium as part of a panel discussion.
