Description:

Join the Calvin Symphonic Band on Thursday, May 2, as they offer an enjoyable evening of musical "gems." The program will feature such "precious gems" as Gustav Holst's First Suite in E-flat, as well as such "stolen gems" as Charles Ives' Old Home Days. Our collection will also highlight "forgotten" and "chosen gems" in Chant and Jublio by Francis McBeth and Francois Gossec's Military Symphony in F. Plan to attend a wonderful evening of sparkling music that won't hurt your wallet! The concert begins at 7:30 PM in the CFAC Auditorium. Admission is free; no tickets are required.
