Be PLANT-tastic with us! Curious about how to make plants grow? Come dig into the process with greenhouse staff and interns. We grow native plants from seedlings we collect throughout West Michigan for our yearly spring & fall native plant sale. It's our way of extending the preservation & restoration reach of the Calvin Ecosystem Preserve & Native Gardens. Volunteers are important to us! The Lake Drive Greenhouse is at the northern edge of the Preserve at 3770 Lake Drive, Grand Rapids MI. It looks like a residential home, but the driveway leads to our greenhouse in the back. Park in the house parking lot, along the edge of the front lawn, or along the drive. We work in partially heated greenhouses, so dress for the weather.
