12:30–1:30 p.m. - Registration & Reception (Covenant Fine Arts Center West Lobby)
1:30–3:00 p.m. - Calvin Then & Now: presentations on Athletics, Graduate Programs, and Residence Life (Covenant Fine Arts Center Recital Hall)
3:00–4:00 p.m. - Campus Tours: School of Business, Dice Mineralogical Museum, or the Football Offices & Soccer Field
4:00–5:00 p.m. - Campus Worship with Pastor Mary and Class of 2024 graduates (Chapel)
5:00–6:00 p.m. - Pre-dinner Reception with the Class of 1974 (Prince Conference Center)

Call for photos and stories
Your reunion planning team is looking for photos and memories from 1970-1974! Please send photos (with one-sentence description) to alumni@calvin.edu for the dinner slideshow, and also send your favorite memories (a few sentences or paragraph) to alumni@calvin.edu for the emcee to consider to set up the story-telling time.
Parking and directions
See bullet points for specifics; reference the Calvin Visitor Parking Map for directions to all lots mentioned below. Parking is free on campus in all visitor lots.
Throughout the weekend, members of the Calvin staff will be available to guide you from one location to the next. We are here to help!
Friday
- Optional tours between 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.: You're welcome to go directly to the location (School of Business, Dice Mineralogical Museum, or Ecosystem Preserve).
- Registration and afternoon presentations: Parking in Lots 9–10 at the Covenant Fine Arts Center will be most convenient. There are several spaces by the north and south entrances reserved for handicapped parking.
- Reception and dinner at the Prince Conference Center: Lots 15–16 are conveniently located outside of the Prince Conference Center for your use.
Saturday
- Medallion ceremony, lunch, and commencement: Lots 1–3 are closest to the Chapel. If you'll be joining us for the commencement ceremony, we will have a golf cart available to transport those with accessibility concerns. This service will be available before and after the ceremony.
Dress code
For Friday evening's dinner and Saturday's ceremonies, we recommend business casual attire (no jeans). For all other happenings on Friday, we'd love for you to wear whatever's comfortable so you can explore campus!
Cost
Registration is $70 per participant. We want to ensure that all those who desire to attend the reunion are able to participate! If this cost would prohibit you from attending the reunion, please reach out to alumni@calvin.edu so we can work with you on appropriate arrangements.
Medallion Ceremony
What is the Medallion Ceremony? Think of it as a Commencement re-enactment of sorts. Immediately following the worship service, members of the class will line up. Each person's name will be read by alumni director Jeff Haverdink, and as you walk across the front of the chapel, you'll be presented with a keepsake Calvin University 50-year Reunion medallion by a member of the Alumni Association Board. Class members will wear these medallions for the class photo and when recognized in the Class of 2024's Commencement Ceremony on Saturday afternoon.
