PFAS: Forever Chemicals
Life can take dramatic and unexpected turns. After learning about PFAS (Per-and Polyfluoroalkyl substances) contamination in my community, and seeing the profound affects firsthand, I became an unwilling advocate for change in state and federal systems. Participants will learn about the thousands of chemicals that comprise PFAS, their uses and prevalence, and the health effects of exposure for humans and animals.
