Reformed Mission in an Age of World Christianity - This conference is designed to strengthen the intersection between Reformed Christian faith expressions and global movements for world Christianity.  It is prompted by the commitments of Calvin College, the emerging global partnership of the World Communion of Reformed Churches, and ready involvement from IAPCHE, the International Association for the Promotion of Christian Higher Education.

Seven Deadly Sins (Capital Vices) in the Christian Tradition - This two-week seminar on the seven deadly sins—or, capital vices—in the Christian tradition will explore a philosophical understanding of the vices as moral concepts that played a central role in spiritual formation and cultural critique from the 4th to the 13th century.

The Power of Race in American Religion - Race and religion are intimately linked to one another in the United States. In this three-week seminar, we closely examine these connections and their implications for social and religious life, analyze different alternatives in light of faith traditions, and consider the benefits and costs of different approaches for different groups, all in an attempt to bring clarity to these issues and outline avenues for research and teaching.

Case Studies from the History of Worship: Prospects for Research and Pedagogy in a Variety of Theological Disciplines - This seminar will focus on the development and pedagogical use of case studies from the history of Christian worship. In the seminar, participants will have opportunity to research and initiate writing on a case study documenting the first-hand accounts, texts, and theological reflections from some historical instance of worship.
