Professor of Economics
Professor Schaefer received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bradley University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan. He has taught Economic Theory and Econometrics at Calvin College since 1993. From 2004-2007, he served as Director of the Center for Social Research and as Director of the Comenius Scholars Program starting is 2006.
