Overview
Based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, Godspell is a story-telling pageant: utilizing song, pantomime, charades, and acrobatics to tell the story of Christ. Featuring a sparkling score by Stephen Schwartz, Godspell features such recognizable songs as “Day By Day,” “Save the People,” “Learn Your Lessons Well,” “Bless the Lord,” and “All for the Best.” Through this extraordinary musical, audience members will experience the parables of Jesus Christ coming humbly, and joyously to life on Calvin College’s stage this season.
