Calvin University Handbook for Teaching Faculty

This handbook is the authoritative reference for policies and practices affecting teaching faculty at Calvin University.

From the preface:

The Handbook for Teaching Faculty is designed, first and foremost, for the teaching faculty of Calvin University (i.e., for those Calvin employees who hold the rank of instructor, assistant professor, associate professor, or professor at Calvin University). Although part-time instructors, assistant instructors, librarians, administrators who have faculty status, and other Calvin employees may find the information and policies included herein useful, the intended audience is the teaching faculty.

“The handbook serves the members of the teaching faculty in a number of ways. Its most immediate function is to provide them with information which will facilitate their work as teachers and scholars and which will set forth their personal and professional expectations and obligations as members of the Calvin teaching faculty.

“The handbook also contains the most important educational and administrative practices and policies of Calvin University.”
