Support student internships & strengthen local ecosystems

Each year Preserve staff collect native seeds from West Michigan and propagate those in our greenhouses with interns and volunteers. The Native Plant Sale features more than 100 rare and favorite varieties of native wildflowers and grasses for all growing seasons, including drought-tolerant, rain garden, and shade species.

Join us on Venema Plaza to shop our plant selection from 10 AM - 4 PM on Saturday, May 11.

This year, we're bringing a festival feel to the plant sale with food trucks, children's activities (ages 3+) and live music.

If you're not able to join us for the plaza sale, you'll still have opportunity to add native species to your landscapes. We open an online sale on May 18. This sale runs into the fall with a small break for inventory and our fall sale.

Interested in volunteering at the greenhouse? Join us on M, W, TH from 1:15 - 4:15 PM at the Lake Drive Greenhouse.
