MASS MEDIA STUDIES MAJOR; JOURNALISM MINOR

CURRENT OCCUPATION: Director of marketing and public relations at the Erie Art Museum in Erie, Pa.

Opportunities at Calvin, like my internship through the Chicago Semester, strengthened my resume for the post-grad job hunt, and offered me invaluable experience working a 'real job' in conjunction with my courses.

NURSING MAJOR; SPANISH MINOR

CURRENT OCCUPATION: Clinic RN (registered nurse) at Lawndale Christian Health Center in Chicago, Ill.

Because of the emphasis that Calvin places on community nursing, it allowed me to see the needs of patients outside of the hospital setting... I can impact their health for the better because I have a clearer sense of their daily struggles and needs.
