Calvin alumni who went on to earn advanced degrees at the University of Michigan reunited Nov. 4 in the Rich Postma Clubhouse at U-M’s golf course for a tailgate event. About 100 alumni and students heard from Postma and Calvin president Michael Le Roy about the strong relationship that Calvin has shared with U-M over the years. Many medical doctors, nurses, engineers, and architects completed their education at Michigan. Those gathered enjoyed a tailgate buffet, fellowship, and a Q&A time with President Le Roy. A weather delay gave the group extra time in the clubhouse before heading to the Big House for the game. The event was so well received that plans are set to hold another Nov. 3, 2018, when Michigan plays Penn State.
