The CRCPI was created and is currently maintained by Hekman Library staff and other volunteers. The CRCPI provides access to articles from various periodicals that are of interest to members of the Christian Reformed Church in North America.

In order to continue with the indexing of current titles, and to increase our coverage of other titles, the Hekman Library is looking additional for volunteers to index periodicals. From any location, and using a computer connected to the World Wide Web, CRCPI volunteers are able to index periodicals.

Specifically, we are looking for people with the following qualifications:

- experience using a computer (including keyboard and mouse),
- experience with navigating the Internet with a web browser (Netscape, Internet Explorer, etc.)
- attention to fine detail
- while not necessary, experience as a library cataloger would be preferred.

In addition, we require that volunteers have access to the Internet (volunteers in the Grand Rapids area would have Internet access made available to them in the Hekman Library). Volunteers should have access to physical copies of the periodicals they will index (however, other arrangements could be made).
