Our topic and speaker

In this lecture, DeWitt will lead us in a reflection on the wonder of God’s creation and Earth’s biospheric economy. Guided by our “two books theology” of Scripture and creation as divine revelation, we will explore our joyful task and privilege of understanding God’s will in creation and our role in practicing this will in our own lives.

As esteemed geographer Clarence Glacken puts it, “Christianity and the ideas that behind it is a religion and philosophy of creation.”
