Ross Douthat, presenting the Henry Lecture 2015

Ross Douthat will present the annual Henry Lecture for 2015, speaking on "The Future of American Christianity: The Christian Crisis of the 20th Century and its Implications for the 21st." Mr. Douthat joined The New York Times as an Op-Ed columnist in April 2009, with a column that appears every Sunday.

Ross Douthat will present the annual Henry Lecture for 2015, speaking on "The Future of American Christianity: The Christian Crisis of the 20th Century and its Implications on the 21st." The lecture is free and open to the public, with a reception following the event.

Mr. Douthat joined The New York Times as an Op-Ed columnist in April 2009, where his column appears every Sunday. Previously, he was a senior editor at The Atlantic and a blogger for theatlantic.com.  Douthat is the author of Bad Religion: How We Became a Nation of Heretics, published in 2012, and Privilege: Harvard and the Education of the Ruling Class (2005), as well as a co-author, with Reihan Salam, of Grand New Party: How Republicans Can Win the Working Class and Save the American Dream (2008). He is the film critic for National Review.
