A focused study of the fiction, poetry, drama, and/or non-fiction prose produced in the United States between the Civil War and Great Depression, with a focus on those writers and texts most emblematic of-or influential in-shaping America's diverse literatures. Prerequisite: English 295 or permission of the instructor. Not offered 2012-2013.
