BUS-397   Business Capstone

Business organizations require their members to draw from broad experiences to address complex issues. In this course, teams of students work with a large or small business or a nonprofit organization, many with global stakeholders, to develop a detailed plan regarding an actual challenge or opportunity. This allows students to integrate and apply knowledge, skills and virtues drawn from their recent coursework. Students develop models of the organization and of the environment in which the organization operates so that the issue and solution are appropriately contextualized. Deliverables will include analysis reports, solution proposals, and implementation plans. Students reflect on how Christian beliefs and virtues affect their plans and affect their work in the project environment. Prerequisites: Business 360, 362, 370, 380 and 396. Business 362 can be taken concurrently with 397.
