Solution

First, find the equivalent resistance looking into the primary (left) terminals of the transformer. The resistance on the right side of the transformer is 5KΩ since the 2K and 3K are in series. This is then reflected to the left side by the transformer resistance equation:

Now we have the 4KΩ and 0.56KΩ resistors in parallel, which is 0.488KΩ. The 0.488KΩ is in series with the 1KΩ so we can use a voltage divider equation to find the voltage over the 1KΩ resistor:
