\ell(x) \leq f(x) \leq u(x) \textrm{ whenever } 0 < |x-c| < p, \textrm{ and if} \\
\lim_{x \rightarrow c } \ell(x) = \lim_{x \rightarrow c} u(x) = L, \textrm{ then } \lim_{x \rightarrow c } f(x) = L.
