1. Source of funding: Why was the research done?
2. Researcher contact: Who collected the data? What was the contact between researcher and the individuals like?
3. Individuals studied and how they were selected
4. Measurements made (questions asked)
5. Setting in which the data were collected
6. Extraneous differences and other explanations
7. Magnitude of claimed effect
