Thanks for visiting my page. I am a Professor of Education and chair of the Education Department at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The past few summers I have written about ministry to children with support from a grant from the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship.

I also play music with my kids.

Indonesian translation Helping Our Children Grow in Faith has been translated into Indonesian! My wife, Laura, and I have recently published Celebrating the Milestonses of Faith, published by Faith Alive Resources.
I also have two chapters in The Church of All Ages: Generations Worshiping Together, edited by Howard VanderWell and published by The Alban Institute. Order it here. Laura and I have also written Together We Worship, a curriculum for 4th - 6th grade which is published by Christian Schools International.

We also write church school curriculum for the Walk With Me series from Faith Alive Resources. A Christmas unit called Just Like Me, an Easter Unit called He's Alive!, and a five-week summer unit called Follow the Leader were recently released and is available through Faith Alive Christian Resources

 

My wife and kids have written books too!

Laura Keeley is co author of an Intergenerational curriculum for churches called WE: The Epic Story.

Bethany Keeley-Jonker has written The Book of "Unnecessary" Quotation Marks based on her successful Blog of Unnecessary Quotation Marks.

Bryan Keeley has also written a Devotional Book for Middle School kids based on the Heidelberg Catechism.
