Harmonics Theory

This chapter presents basic harmonics theory. Initially, the Fourier series and analysis methods are reviewed, and some fundamentals of Fourier transforms are introduced. Then, general harmonics theory and definitions of harmonic quantities, harmonic indices in common use and power system response and solutions to harmonics are described.
