Daisies

Our destination was the Postberg section of the West Coast National Park. On this map, you can see that Postberg is on the end of a large peninsula. Postberg is privately owned, and it is opened only for two months (August and September) so that visitors can enjoy the natural Spring flowers. We drove to the Plankiesbaai area to see the ocean. Along the way, we saw lots of the wildflowers. The photo below shows an example meadow covered with (from foreground) white, white and purple, and yellow flowers. It was pretty amazing.
