Noordhoek Beach

Noordhoek is on the Atlantic side of the Cape Peninsula. As such, its stunningly green water is always very cold. Noordhoek has some of the whitest sand I've ever seen: it is visible from Chapman's Peak Drive, which is presently closed for repairs.

The beach area is now part of the Table Mountain National Park, and it is well cared for. It was a pleasure walking here today. It was surprisingly deserted for a holiday weekend.
