The first image shows the PVC pipe at rest, and indicates how it can be set spinning by squeezing on one end with a thumb. Note carefully the markings: an X and an O on the two ends with small red lettering along the axis.
The second image is a time exposure covering just over one revolution of the spinning pipe.
