The Lunar Phases Web Tool was developed by Larry Molnar, with technical
assistance from David Priebe, Steve Bowers, and others at the
Instructional Software Development
Group at The University of Iowa.
The images of the Earth and Moon were made using the
Earth and Moon Viewer web site.
It was put online in February 1998, intended for use in introductory
astronomy courses.
Of course, as an internet site it is freely available to anyone
anywhere with web access.
As of August 2003, the site has been visited by over 100,000 people
from all over the world.
We want to know what you think!
Please direct comments and suggestions to
Larry Molnar.
