During
Condimentalism viewers are given free kosher hot dogs from an outdoor electric
train. The train loops inside the gallery and along the sidewalk, allowing
easy access to free hot dogs and condiments. Hot dogs, donated by Hebrew
National, nourish and create community. Themes addressed are the frontier
and the West, academia, Judaism, prayer, accessibility, and absurdity. A
soundtrack plays in the gallery and from the train, inviting passers-by
to take one hot dog, free hot dog, take one with relish.
