Mission Statement
The mission of Rochester College is to engage students in a vigorous liberal arts education within a Christian community for a life of study and service.

Christian Emphasis
Since its inception, Rochester College has emphasized the importance of combining academic excellence with Christian ideals. While the college admits students of all races and religions and carefully explains varying world views in relevant courses, it employs only those professors and instructors who understand, who practice, and who teach the Christian faith. Regardless of their discipline, faculty members routinely relate their subject matter to relevant principles and concepts of Christianity.

Chapel/Assembly
Daily Assembly provides a time for students and employees of the college to participate in programs that reinforce the spiritual, academic, and community values of the college. The programs, led by faculty, off-campus guests, and students are designed to develop the whole person.

Assembly meets Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Full-time students are required to attend.

Wednesday will be "Community Day." Attendance will not be taken for Wednesday's "Community Day," making it a voluntary day for prayer or devotion in the auditorium.

Sundays
Students may look for a local church home.

Other Worship Opportunities
The Offering is a Tuesday evening gathering for "singing, standing or sitting in silence, meditating on scripture, reflecting and celebrating His work among us, and other forms that turn our gaze to Him."

Everyone is invited to informal Devotionals. Similar occasions in the individual residence halls provide opportunities for Christian fellowship and inspiration at the end of the day.

Other Highlights
Campus Ministry Interns are involved in programming for the residence halls.

Experience in evangelism and missions can be received through participation in IMAGE (International Missions Apprenticeship for God's Evangelists). This organization is actively involved in local, domestic, and foreign missions and service opportunities.

The men of 4-Him sponsor a number of service projects each year as they develop servant-leaders.
