College Mission Statement
The mission of Hope College is to offer with recognized excellence, academic programs in liberal arts, in the setting of a residential, undergraduate, coeducational college, and in the context of the historic Christian faith.
Chapel
Chapel services are offered Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 10:30-10:52 am.
Students are invited to attend these services which are led by the Dean of the Chapel, a student praise team, and occasional guest speakers.

Sundays
A directory of local churches can be found on their site.
A very popular event on campus and in the community is their Sunday night "The Gathering" at 8 pm.
Highlights
There are a number of interesting Ministry Teams at Hope:
Drama team - one of the newest student organizations, it teaches "principles that are anchored in the Word of God through dramatic arts"
Silent praise - student group who learns to sign for worship songs, seeking "to praise God through American Sign Language"
Sacred dance - "student organization dedicated to leading worship through dance and fellowship among dancers"
Mission outreach - encouraging students to step "out of their familiar lives and go to those who are poor, lonely, ill, sick.to be a reflection of Jesus to others in need of his love
Tech team - for those with "serious servant's heart and a techy nature" to set up and take down the gear required for the band to lead worship
Media team - use sound, lighting, video, recording so that "the intangible becomes tangible" in worship
Prayer team - intercessors who "bathe every square inch of the campus in prayer"
Service team - focus on "developing relationships with families and organizations in the neighborhoods" that surround Hope's campus
E-team - "group of students who make everything on this website possible" using gifts in photography and writing and technical skills
Express
Part of the website provides an opportunity for student expression through various artistic forms, including poetry, music, visual arts, short stories, and testimonies. "We are firm believers that God designed us to be creative beings and that He delights when we use our creativity to glorify Him."
10 people serve on the Campus Ministry staff, in addition to Dean of Chapel.
