Live Webcasts
The Worship Symposium is coming to you! We will offer live webcasts on Thursday, January 29, of the opening plenary address by John D. Witvliet (4:00 p.m. Eastern time) and the evening worship serivce (7:30 p.m. Eastern time) with Frank Thomas preaching, and participation by Calvin College Gospel Choir.
You can view the webcasts on your computer or gather with other worshipers. In partnership with the January Series of Calvin College, we have arranged for some churches to host gatherings to watch these webcasts in community on large screens.
These churches have indicated they will host gatherings to watch these webcasts on a large screen:
| Avery Street Christian Reformed Church, South Windsor, CT | |
| Crosspoint Church, Chino, CA | |
| Fairlawn Christian Reformed Church, Whitinsville, MA | |
| New Life Community Church, Artesia, CA |
Please help us spread the word about these free gatherings at these locations.
Program updates
Each year we carefully read and consider the feedback our Symposium attendees submit. We want to highlight several changes to the Symposium schedule and program.
1. Extended workshop session A/B: Attendees may select an extended workshop (meets for two and a half hours) for in-depth study on a topic (this choice is an alternative to workshop session A and B). See the nine A/B workshop choices.
2. Registration choices for Symposium: Attendees register by day (Thursday, Friday, or Saturday or any combination). See the fees page.
3. Reduced prices for students: Throughout the years, the Worship Symposium has benefited from participation by students from high schools, colleges, and seminaries. We are able to offer reduced prices to encourage continued student participation.
