Event Information
The Calvin Symposium on Worship is a conference sponsored by the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship and the Center for Excellence in Preaching, and held at Calvin College and Calvin Theological Seminary, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The conference is an ecumenical conference for a wide audience of pastors, visual artists, Christian educators, musicians, lay worship leaders and planners, dramatists, pastoral care ministers, members of church boards and councils, and other interested worshipers. Attendees come from all across North America and, in recent years, a growing number from overseas as well.
Format of Symposium
Each day of Symposium begins and ends with a complete worship service. Thursdays are devoted to in-depth study of given topics. The main schedule of hour-long workshops begins on Friday and is repeated in the same time slots on Saturday. The conference ends Saturday afternoon about 5:00.

Travel Information
Arrange all travel (flights and rental cars) through the Calvin College travel office (per Calvin College travel policy we cannot reimburse flights made on your own). Email travel@calvin.edu or call toll-free 1-888-534-6810. We ask that you complete travel arrangements by Dec. 15.
Information for Presenters Staying at the Prince Conference Center
All out-of-town presenters will stay at the Prince Conference Center (PCC). The PCC provides a shuttle at the airport to pick you up. If your flight is delayed, please contact the Prince front desk at 866-526-7200. A room reservation has been made under your name at the PCC. Be sure to make return shuttle arrangements when you check in. Check out is 12 noon, but you are welcome to store your luggage at the front desk if you leave later in the day.
Check in materials for presenters at the Prince Conference Center are handed to you when you check into the hotel.
Presenters not staying at the PCC pick up check in materials from the office of the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship (Library building).
