Psalms for a Lenten Journey

This series of worship services for Lent is built around a sampling of the Psalms. Psalms are reflective of the diversity of experiences in the lives of God's people in the Old Testament and today. To reflect further on the use of Psalms in worship, see The Biblical Psalms in Christian Worship, by John D. Witvliet.

Two additional resources developed for this worship service series include an in-depth study of each psalm, written by Carl Bosma of Calvin Theological Seminary, and a series of meditations on these psalms for Holy Week, written by Nathan Bierma of CICW.
