*Charge and Blessing

Go out in the power of the gospel.
Do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord.
When you suffer for the gospel, rely on the power of God,
who saved us and called us with a holy calling,
not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace.
Hold to the standard of sound teaching that you have heard,
In the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
Guard the good treasure entrusted to you, with the help of the Holy Spirit living in us.
                -based on 2 Timothy 1:18-14

May the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace in believing,
So that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
And may the God of peace
Make you holy in every way
And keep your whole being-spirit, soul, and body-
Free from every fault at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Alleluia! Amen!

*Passing of the Peace

The peace of Christ be with you all.
            And also with you.
