Disciples Year 2: Worship (Faith Alive Christian Resources, 2008)
Description
Disciples is a multiyear faith formation program for adults that combines group studies, daily devotions, and complete worship plans. It takes you from discipleship basics to finding your place in God's mission.
Year 2 is an intermediate-level study that explores some of the spiritual practices of disciples: prayer, reading the Bible, worship, living in community, and overcoming sin. Now each book includes discussion guides and five thought-provoking devotional readings that lead up to each small group session. Also included are discussion guides for each small group session.
Worship

Without opting for a particular style of worship, this study helps disciples understand the basic structure of worship as well as its ultimate purpose. Participants will discover how God-centered worship lies at the heart of discipleship and has the power to transform our daily lives.
Rev. Ron Rienstra teaches homiletics at Western Theological Seminary, Holland, Michigan, and is co-author of the forthcoming Language in Worship (Baker Publishing Group). He is also author of Ten Service Plans for Contemporary Worship Volumes 1 & 2 (Faith Alive).
