Retelling the Stories: Dramatizing Texts from the Revised Common Lectionary
John Steven Paul
Calvin College Festival of Faith and Writing 2006
God has chosen story as the principal mode of divine revelation, and it is the mission of the church to tell and retell those stories. The church has codified the most important stories in the Lectionary. This workshop examined the Lectionary as a source of stories, characters, and ideas for plays designed to serve the church.
