Preaching the Ascension from a Reformed Perspective
Laura Smit
Calvin Symposium on Worship 2006

Session Description
How can the ascension of Christ be proclaimed in a way that is relevant to the daily lives of Christians? This workshop will focus on preaching about the ascension, drawing on resources from an interdisciplinary study group of Calvin faculty that spent a year together thinking about what difference the ascension makes for different spheres of life. We will also look at worship resources for an Ascension Day service.
