Conversation on Worship and Culture in North America
Interview with Andy Crouch
April 2006
Calvin College

What is the importance of embodied worship in a mediated culture? What are the pitfalls of cultural power and conformity for the church? How are conversations about the meaning of worship getting drowned out by conversations about the style of worship? How do many churches today practice "pre-Reformational" models of worship? Staff members of the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship sat down with Andy Crouch, columnist for Christianity Today, during the Festival of Faith and Writing 2006 at Calvin College, to reflect on these and other questions about worship and culture.
