Summary: Good Shepherd Christian Reformed Church and Bridgeway Community Church, near Paterson, New Jersey are partnering to equip youth and adults to plan, lead and participate in worship through a study of Reformed worship, the varied global and historical expressions of Christian worship, and how these address the unique needs of a primarily Hispanic immigrant community.

Event: “More Than Music: The Spoken Word in Worship,” led by Ron and Deb Rienstra and Julie Romeo brought together church leaders from these and neighboring congregations.  The workshop concluded with a bilingual service, planned by workshop participants, which included creative ideas and helped them more deeply worship God and understand worship as encounter and dialogue with God.
