Ada Christian School, Ada, Michigan To create a program for teaching students and teachers the elements of worship, and modeling those elements in informal and formal worship services.

All Nations Christian Reformed Church, Halifax, Nova Scotia To develop and publish a worship resource manual for intergenerational worship services that more fully integrate youth into the worship life of congregations.

Christians in Theatre Arts, Greenville, South Carolina To research theological, liturgical and philosophical rationale for thoughtful integration of the dramatic arts in worship in North American congregations, and to present this at a series of national conferences on both drama and worship.

Conference on Korean Worship and Music, Louisville, Kentucky To sponsor a national worship conference on Korean Worship and Music in order to create worship resources for Korean American congregations. The hymnbook Come, Let Us Worship: The Korean-English Presbyterian Hymnal and Service Book (Geneva Press, 2002) was one result of this grant.

Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions Region VI, Toledo, Ohio To sponsor a Liturgy Summer Camp for adults and young adults to provide basic liturgical understanding to lay leaders in congregations in Michigan and Ohio.

First Congregational Church, UCC, Lockport, Illinois To develop a collaborative youth worship leadership training program for junior high, high school and college students in four congregations.

Glade Baptist Church, Blacksburg, Virginia To create a fine arts gallery in their sanctuary, in conjunction with contemplative worship services.

Kelloggsville Christian School, Kelloggsville, Michigan To create a program for teaching students and teachers the elements of worship, and modeling those elements in informal and formal worship services.

Ministry of Worship and Spiritual Life, Archdiocese of Miami, Miami, Florida To sponsor a week-long Liturgical Institute for clergy, religious and lay leaders of South Florida with a focus on the sacraments and popular devotions in developing multi-cultural congregations.

North American Association for the Catechumenate (NAAC), Seattle, Washington To sponsor a conference on programs to integrate worship, evangelism, hospitality, and small group ministries in the process of welcoming new members to a congregation.

Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas To guide clergy and lay leaders from five congregations through a process designed to lead to vital and authentic worship in diverse communities. One Bread, One Body: Exploring Cultural Diversity in Worship is a recent publication by C. Michael Hawn and made possible by this grant.

Rutgers Community Christian Church, Belle Mead, New Jersey To plan and implement a seminar on music and worship to explore future directions for this and other Chinese-American congregations.

Timothy Christian High School, Elmhurst, Illinois To sponsor a worship conference and educational experience for high school students in Christian High Schools in the Midwest.
